In this 1-hour virtual yoga class, Yoga Therapist Caren Baginski, C-IAYT, will share science-backed yoga breathing techniques and simple restorative yoga poses to calm the body and mind from her book Restorative Yoga. These empowering practices will help you manage stress, reduce pain, and uplift your mood in as little as 5 to 10 minutes a day. If you have yoga props, bring your yoga mat, yoga bolster, blocks, blankets, and an eye pillow. Don't have these? No problem. Substitute with bath towels, blankets, bed/couch pillows, and a washcloth. Also, be next to a chair or couch and wear comfortable clothing (Bonus: You can keep your socks on!) Â Â
 About Caren  Caren Baginski, C-IAYT, is a yoga therapist and author who has been teaching yoga and meditation since 2009. Her YouTube channel has more than 1.8 million views and gives people from around the world permission to slow down, do less, and heal. In addition to Restorative Yoga, Caren is trained in Yoga Nidra, Vinyasa Yoga, and completed Inner Peace Yoga Therapy's 800-hour Yoga Therapy program. She is certified through the International Association of Yoga Therapists. A former journalist with a BSJ degree from Ohio University, Caren’s writing has appeared in Yoga Journal and Mantra Wellness Magazine, among others. She lives in Denver, CO.
